Company History

Connie Balcher founded Triple Crown Communications, LLC in 2004 in Montgomery County, Maryland. Ms.Balcher has an M.A. in Linguistics and TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) from Columbia University. She has been teaching professional writing at the University of Maryland College Park since 1987 and Johns Hopkins University from 2002 – 2007.

Professional affiliations include the Association of Business Communication (ABC), The Center for Plain Language, Association of Professional Communication Consultants (APCC), Society of Technical Communication (STC), and Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).

In addition to Ms. Balcher, the Triple Crown team consists of professional technical writers and instructors from the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins University.
